I love Crazy Critters for my Rottweiler because he’s a tough dog, and he requires tough toys that won’t come apart easily. Crazy Critters have withstood his biting and attempts to tear it apart for the last month since I first introduced him to this sturdy piece of entertainment.
Unlike most cuddly toys that have stuffing, Crazy Critters is designed with dogs in mind, and has no stuffing. This is not only a plus for the owner who doesn’t want the insides of stuffed animals flying around, embedded in carpeting, and otherwise making an horrific mess, but it is a plus for any dog’s health who is lucky enough to be a proud owner of Crazy Critters. There is no chance for the dog to ingest harmful fibers that are not a part of his diet.
I could never understand how dog owners gave stuffed animals to their pets and wondered why they came home to find their sofa cushions torn up. There is not much difference to a dog between a soft and cuddly fiber-filled cushion and a stuffed animal. If a dog owner allows a dog to tear up a stuffed toy, it should follow that the dog will also tear up other stuffed objects. Crazy Critters does not promote this negative type of reinforcement.
The squeaking sounds in the head and tail add further charm to the dog’s amusement. Crazy Critters can serve as an interactive toy between the dog owner and the pet in a tug-of-war or in a game of fetch, but it can also be a solitary source of enjoyment for the animal as he bats, bites, throws, and attacks it in his aggressive but playful way.
After my Rottie has spent his energy with Crazy Critter Fox, he takes it over to his bed and lies down with it just as a child with a teddy bear. I think he wants me to add Crazy Critter Raccoon to his playtime routine, so I’d better be on my way.

My miniature daschund went through this toy in less than 4 hours! Squeaker broke within one hour. Had the squeker ripped out not long after. Don’t feel it is worth the money.

Complete RIPOFF! Excessive UNREFUNDABLE mailing costs — that’s where they make their money. Their customer service people have such strong accents you cannot understand what they’re saying. STAY AWAY from this cheap junk- Total ripoff
Crazy Critters are far from indestructible – my dog, had it torn about within 3 days of purchase – removing one of the squeakers. Luckily, we caught it in time before she swallowed it. They may not have any stuffing, but they do have two squeakers which are small plastic pieces that your dog can chew and/or swallow and possibly choke. Dogs love the squeaker toys, but I have as yet to find one that’s completely safe. If Crazy Critters really wanted to promote itself as a safe toy, it would remove them. Bad enough if there is one, but they have two!
I am with the person above as soon as my dog had parts of thetoy all over the place. he even chewed through the squeaker also. Will never buy this again it was a waste of my money.
These are NOT indestructible toys. My lab had one squeaker out within the first
20 minutes of play. If we had not noticed she could have had choked on it!
Squeakers are nice but obviously not good for dog toys. These should not be promoted as indestructible! Need warning of possible dangers!
The Crazy Critters are a huge waste of money! I have a small rat terrier, less than a 16 lb dog. He destroyed both the fox and the raccoon and had both squeakers out of the toys within 15 minutes. I am going to contact their customer service department to see if I can get a satisfactory resolution. I have purchased tennis ball dog toys from Pet Smart with a squeaker that last about two weeks on average and cost much less than the Crazy Critters.
I have a pitbull/shar-pei mix who literally ripped both squeakers out of the racoon and pulled one leg completely off all within 20 mins of me giving him the toy!! Waste of money!! The company stated that I can return the destroyed items and they would send me replacements. Why would I want replacements????
I bought two Crazy Critters for my Australian Shepherd and my Aussie mix. They like to play tug of war and squeak new toys and haven’t stopped playing with them since I opened the box about an hour ago. The toys seem to be somewhat durable and very soft.
What I don’t like about ordering the Crazy Critters is the fact you have to pay separate shipping on the free Critter yet they arrive in the same box. That seems so illogical to me. It cost me nearly $24 for the two toys. I just hope they last more than a month. We’ll see how they hold up to the tugging and pulling my dogs will put them through.
BUYER BEWARE! THEY RIPPED OFF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT BY $200.00 AND I AM HAVING A HARD TIME GETTING BACK FROM THEM. SO FAR I HAVE HAD TO MAKE 5 PHONES OVER THE COURSE OF 3 DAYS AND MY REFUND IS STILL GOING TO TAKE 7 – 10 DAYS. I WILL NEVER NEVER BUY ANYTHING AGAIN FROM TELEBRANDS.
After reading these reviews after receiving my crazy critters through the mail- I decided to time how long it took for my corgi and german shepard/corgi mix to destroy these supposidly “undestructable toys”.

The squeakies have been silenced or removed on my part after being disembowed from the critters. There is a trail of their fur and they’re riped through and through. I mean if you think about it- its really going to be impossible to find a plush toy that is indestructable for dogs–being in fact that dogs are well- meant to rip a part the toughest of fleshes in nature. Its really not going to happen- I guess we just really need to get real. I just wish they wouldn’t advertise a lie.
I foolishly did not check reviews and ordered the bonus special on line and was bombarded with extra order offers. I did do one extra only to get the final billing page showing much more than I had figured so I was going to cancel the extras but found it would not allow me to do so. this strikes me as a sneaky company. As this is a saturday I cannot connect with customer service.
After an extended wait on my phone call to try to rectify Sat. order I get an extended confusing response to my attempt to ammend my order made on Saturday. I have to call back on Thursday. This web site is definetly NOT user friendly!
I just bought these before seeing this site. I have a great dane… we’ll see what happens. I think it is ridiculous that they charge almost $14 shipping. That second toy isn’t free at all, you are just paying for the toy when you pay for shipping, it costs about $3 to ship them. Oh and they don’t tell you that is how much shipping will be until the order is completed, no page to review your order or anything.

Purchased these crazy critters for my friends 2 dogs down in Florida – they were delivered while I was down there on vacation in April. Both dogs are small shitzu – one didn’t even want the toy and the other who weighs about 12 lbs. chewed a hole in the racoon within 1/2 hour of playing with it. INDESTRUCTIBLE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIG JOKE – WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would send it back but they probably would just send me another one. Who wants it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure Garbage !!!!!!!!!!!
I am waiting for the Crazy Critters and now I am reading the comments which I wish I would have read before buying them. I have a Coton de Tulier. It’s amazing how she can chew up almost anything for her size. I agree with the shipping cost being too high also I think they are sneaky when making the order.
Thanks to all of you who wrote reviews I didn’t buy this toy. instead I tore the add out of the paper and let my dog rip that to shreads. Crisis avoided.
I am very upset that they did not let you know the total charge until they charged you for it! I have still not received them yet and after reading these reviews I wish I had never bought them! WHAT A SCAM! I will never buy off the TV again! I have told all of my friends and family so they can spread the word.
THEY HAVE THIS PRODUCT AT BED BATH AND BEYOND FOR 9.99! Do not get ripped off like me and pay 2 seperate charges of 6.99 each. I paid 24.00 for both. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond today and saw it for 9.99 plus 20% off with coupon. UGH..so mad that I got ripped off.
This toy is ottal junk. My pointer had it torn up in less than thirty minutes. Maybe a 15 year old toothless dog can’t tear it up. I am sticking with the “blue thing” rubber toy he has not been able to tear up in 6 months so far.
I purchased the raccoon from a local grocery and gave it to my baby lab just an hour ago. In less than five minutes, the rear squeaker died. In another fifteen, the squeaker in the head quit working. This toy is junk. I’ve had better luck with carnival toys. I can get a refund from my local retailer and I’ll be doing that later this week.
Don’t waste your money or at worst, don’t waste it by buying direct. They’re $9.95 at retail and you don’t pay the exorbitant shipping fee.
Well our dog cocker/chihuahua mix had this toy tore up in about 5 minutes had the nose of the racoon tore off. I guess they are saying that STUFFING want be all over the place. But it took him a couple of days or a week to tear up a stuffed animal. We didn’t buy it from telebrands we bought it from Walgreens. But we wont be buying another one. My wife said that he probably would find some how to tear it up. Should have surfed the net to find reviews of this stupid toy and I would have saved my $10.

I want to thank everyone above for saving me from ordering these “critters”. I always read reviews on anything I see on TV. It has saved me many dollars, many times. I used to be a real sucker about buying from ads. No more. ALWAYS check the reviews before you get taken by these crooked companies.
I am SO glad I read the reviews before placing my order. I have 2 young German Shepherds who love stuffed toys and will play tug of war with them and carry them around forever even after removing the stuffing. I guess I’ll just keep buying cheap stuffed animals. Thanks!
I made the terrible mistake of ordering online directly with TeleBrands. They charged $45 for shipping a $30 order. There was never a chance to view the total charges before the order was placed, and no chance of canceling the order. – I called 5 times. When it finally arrives, I will refuse it but will only be credited for the merchandise – $30 and not shipping/handling -$45. I guess a $45 lesson is better than a $75 lesson, but I still feel scammed. Buyer Beware!
After reading, really don’t want to buy them. Thanks to all for helpful comments. My husband thought they would be great for our Boston Terrier that plays, then chews,and chews on every toy. I have looked for and spent a lot of money on different toys, same thing but actually, at our grocery store pet food section found hard rubber toys cheap and had a squeaker but after 3 months still not chewed pieces off. I do keep an eye on the area where squeaker is and so far fine. So sometimes costing more is not better! One is round ball just the right size for the mouth the other is fat bone shaped. Something about the rubber is different?

I SAW THIS ON TV AND IT WAS 10 BUCKS FOR 2 BUT WHEN I GOT THE BILL IT WAS 40 BUCKS N GOT 4 CRAZY CRITTERS , THEY DONT LAST AS LONG AS THEY SAY BY DOG WENT THROUGH 4 OF THEM IN A WEEK A 90 LB DOG, ITS A RIP OFF SO IF U ORDER IT EXPECT 2 GET 4 OF THEM AND A 40 DOLLAR BILL AND TRY TO CANCEL IT GOOD LUCK………….

Thank you everyone for posting the truth about these toys. I seriously considered buying them until I read the reviews. I have two dogs that can get through most toys in less than 10 minutes and I was really hoping I could give them a cute critter to play with and carry around. I think we will just stick with the Kongs and the blanket Olivia loves to carry around when I get home.
I bought this toy for a friend of mine who lovingly adopted a bulldog/ pitbull mix. Seeing as how the dog was going through all of her toys within a day or two, I had seen these at a local store and thought it might work. The dog had it shredded in 10 minutes! Total rip off!!!! I’d like to have two more. One to crap on and one to cover it up with!!!!!!!!
